The New Year is a fresh start for most of us and is especially true when it comes to new 2011 car models. Many new vehicles were introduced at the end of 2010 that showed some promise. Whether they were and electric car, an SUV or a concept vehicle, 2011 will be a year that new and innovative design comes to light. There are a ton of new models out there but I wanted to highlight a small selection that I thought took the cake.
2011 Chrysler 200

The 2011 Chrysler 200 Sedan is replacing the Sebring model and from the outside doesn’t look much different. The interior has been completely revamped and so has the front and rear design. The suspension has also been redone for improved ride and cornering stability. The new model has an attractive new price as well that makes it one of the most appealing new car models for 2011
Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG E-Cell

The brand new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG E-Cell stole the stage at the latest 2011 Detroit Auto Show. With its sleek design and bright yellow paint job, it was a car that was hard to ignore. This bad boy supposedly goes from 0-60mph in 3.7 seconds and boasts 525 horsepower and 649 pound-feet of torque.
2011 Audi R8 Cabriolet

The new 2011 Audi R8 Cabriolet has a quad exhaust and a V10 engine to boot. Despite being a cabriolet, this convertible swings more on the sports side. The interior design is crafted more for a sports driver rather than casual drives. The cool thing about this car is that rooftop deploys in 2o seconds with a push of a single button. Audi once again has made a well rounded vehicle.
2011 Chevrolet Volt

The brand new 2011 Electric Chevrolet Volt car is probably the most talked about electric vehicle in 2011. It has zero emissions for most commutes and uses minimal gas to power the car’s electric generator. This is a car I’ve wanted to try out for quite some time now. I’m very interested to see how long the battery lasts personally.
2011 Dodge Charger

This is one of many new 2011 Dodge Charger pics that have impressed me. The design is super smooth and its V6 base engine pumps out 292 horsepower. The design seems to be inspired from the second generation of the Dodge Charger. The Charger has always been an iconic American vehicle and it seems that it will stay that way.
There you have it. Those are the shining pearls that I found to stand out amongst the flock of new 2011 vehicles. Maybe someday you’ll want to sell your old vehicle and purchase one these new stunning models, in which case you can always come to Big Bucks Auto where we buy used cars. What do you think? Is there a new 2011 model that you think should have been included on this list? If so, which ones?
