		<description>I completely disagree with your statements about these websites. You&#039;ve been hit, and you&#039;re justifiably upset, but these sites do way more good than harm. It is through Ripoff Report that the FBI nailed a number of scammers and ripoff artists, and through them that I learned about mortgage fraud in advance of the rest of America, in time to actually do something about it. Maybe if I&#039;d known about them earlier, I could have been spared from an MLM scam. Ripoff Report is very useful, very helpful, and another piece of valuable information...just like I get from yelp.com for restaurants or reviews at hotels.com or another other opinion site. Throwing around words like &quot;extortion&quot; sound all legal and stuff, but it doesn&#039;t mean what you imply it means, and what Ripoff Report is doing is certainly NOT extortion. If it was, the Feds would have been onto them ages ago. I stand by the site, and I have to wonder why you side with all the other complainers?</description>
